Hello â–¸ Håfa Adai
My name is Crystal Guerrero and I am a marketer by trade, a creative, a writer, a fitness enthusiast and a mother of four. I am here to share my more than 15 years of marketing experience in brand management and digital media with fellow creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, and creators -- particularly BIPOC and Nesian (Micronesian, Polynesian, and Melanesian) peoples -- and give them the tools they need to share their talents and collective cultures across the diaspora with the world.
My Story
I was born an Army Brat. On "foreign soil". Growing up, I moved all over the world and went to school with kids who spoke several more languages than I did. The thing that kept me grounded and tied me to a sense of "home" in all of those travels, was my cultural heritage. CHamoru. Proud. A pride my parents instilled and kept present no matter where we happened to land. That heritage kept me singing. Dancing. Writing. Fueling the creative fires in me that I soon found were universal and pervasive of culture, region, religion, continent. Creativity is simply HUMAN.

Fast forward through a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas where I spent four years buried in books and soaking up live local music, creating, performing and taking in the energy of B-Boy cyphers. A career in radio where I found my voice and pushed myself outside of my introverted nature to take center stage as a radio personality and early adopter and adapter of social media marketing. Then a Master of Business Administration that catapulted me into a career in Public Affairs, Event Marketing, Digital Strategy and Brand Management -- marketing more than products; but lifetime commitments. My life in a nutshell. Trying to take creativity to new heights while helping others whenever I can.

That's where this -- Manafest Creative -- enters scene. My mission here is to help others to achieve success and share the knowledge I've acquired through all of the above. To give back. To make a difference. And build.
